Founding

Lingtech A/S was founded on 1 May 1993

Owners

Lingtech is owned by three European Patent Attorneys, all of whom have a M.Sc. degree: Iver Kyed, Ejvind Christiansen and Flemming Wittrup.

Personnel

Lingtech has 20 permanent employees, all of whom have many years' experience and higher education degrees from either Danish or foreign educational institutions, in language technology, natural science, law, finance and international marketing. Most of Lingtech's employees have lived abroad for extended periods of time.

Freelancers

The company employs more than 400 freelancers located around the globe. Whether translators or consultants, our freelancers must satisfy some of the most stringent quality criteria in the industry, . All of our freelancers are constantly assessed for quality and adherence to deadlines. All freelancers are registered in Lingtech's talent database, where freelance candidates are also registered.

Finances

For many years now, Lingtech has shown a profit and has a high credit rating. Lingtech has AAA standing on Dun & Bradstreet's international credit rating scale. This is very satisfying, especially considering that, in the last three years, the company has invested heavily in product development, new technology, new premises and staff development.

Organisation

Lingtech is a founding member of SDO - the Danish Association of Translation Companies (Sammenslutningen af Danske Oversættelsesvirksomheder).
