Canon Danmark

Canon's manuals for office machines and other equipment are produced centrally and translated in the individual countries. Since Canon Danmark does not employ in-house translators, Lingtech handles the translation and proofreading of the manual texts. Each new piece of equipment has 5-7 different manuals and user guides, thus resulting in a massive amount of text during the course of a year.

Often, only descriptions of the individual new functions of each new piece of equipment need to be translated, so Lingtech translates all the manuals from English to Danish using various TM programmes. This makes it possible for Canon Danmark to realise considerable savings by reusing text that has previously been translated. Similarly, whenever new models are put on the market, the manuals can be updated very quickly.

Zacco Denmark A/S

Lingtech har oversat patenttekster for Zacco helt siden begyndelsen i 1993. I foråret 2008 er behovet for oversættelsen af patenttekster kraftigt formindsket, da der nu kun er krav om at man skal oversætte kravspecifikationen og ikke hele patentet.

Det langsigtede samarbejde, og det gode kendskab til hinanden gjorde at Zacco og Lingtech nu har en aftale, som gør at Lingtech stadig kan bidrage til at Zacco kan betjene sine kunder hurtigt og til en god pris. Vores specialviden om patentoversættelser og vores kendskab til Zacco gjorde udslaget.
