One contact person

As a Lingtech customer, you are assigned a permanent contact person (project manager). All you need do is get in touch with your contact person when you have a text for translation and you will be given a price and a deadline.

Translation and proof-reading

Lingtech uses only freelancers for both translation and proof-reading. We believe this ensures the shortest delivery time and the best quality. We have nearly 400 translators and proof-readers in our database and all are quality assured before we use them.

Input formats

We can handle most formats, but Word, Excel, PowerPoint and xml are the ones we work with most often. We can, of course, work with other formats also, such as InDesign, Quark and Visio, and we can take care of the graphics and design once the translation has been completed.

CAT tools and machine translation

We use CAT (Computer Aided Translation) tools for nearly all translations. This ensures consistent terminology in the translation, and that your choice of terms and wording remains the same in every single translation. The result is always best when CAT tools are used. We also use our machine-translation system, Lingtech Sunbeam, when appropriate. Doing so guarantees both faster delivery and greater consistency.
