Lingtech introduces new design and website

Lingtech has augmented its sphere of activity with consultancy services in Cross-National Understanding – focusing initially on China.

The company is marking this expansion with a new website, a new logo, and a lighter and more international design.

The logo is composed of the L and T in Lingtech, with a warm red colour symbolising Lingtech's humanistic side, and a cool grey that symbolises its technological aspects. The overall design plays on the same set of contrasts, with a beautiful butterfly as the element that binds together all of the sub-themes.

The contents of our website will consist partly of relatively static text with descriptions of our services and a library containing brochures. There will also be a more dynamic section with press releases, news, information on professional events involving Lingtech and our partners, language news and other items that we think might be of interest to our customers, partners and freelancers.

Birgit Pichat, managing director of Lingtech, commented: "We were aware from the start that we would have to acquire a completely new corporate identity when we made the leap from being a pure translation company to a provider of linguistic and cultural services. We have spent a year and a great deal of money on adapting the organisation, moving to new premises, creating the new design and defining our new means of expression."

Established in 1993, Lingtech A/S is Denmark's leading provider of linguistic and cultural services, and is one of the country's biggest translation agencies. The permanent staff of just under 20 employees handles the company's internal work and manages a highly skilled team of freelancers.
